ALLIANCE FOUNDATION HIGHER-LEARNING SCHOLARSHIP

As a very important part of our mission to preserve our values and support the community of Manitowish Waters, the Alliance Foundation Scholarship allows us to invest in our future generations!  Each year, one lucky student will be awarded $1,000.00 at the Summer Social in July.

APPLICATION RULES & GUIDELINES:

• REQUIREMENT WAIVED FOR 2021 AWARDS: Applicant must be an Alliance Foundation member, or if under the age of 18, be part of a family with an Alliance Foundation member who is in good standing with a current membership.
• Applicant will commit at least 5 hours supporting any of our various Alliance community service initiatives during the Application Period.
• Applicant must submit a letter of recommendation and an essay on the importance of preserving the values and traditions of Manitowish Waters.
• Applicant can be entering any year of college or accredited technical school.
• Applicant cannot be related to any Officer or Board Member of the Manitowish Waters Alliance Foundation.
• A three-person scholarship committee of active Board members will select the winner(s).

The next Application Period runs from July 1, 2020 through June 1, 2021.
