WE'RE GETTING READY FOR THE SOLSTICE FESTIVAL - June 20

Due to the continued uncertainty regarding Covid-19, on May 15th the Solstice leadership team decided to make this a 1-day, FREE event this year.  Four different rides and a party at the end of the day offer fun-filled ways to welcome SUMMER!

SUCCESSFULLY COMPLETED!

WE WANT MORE EVENTS!

We heard this request at the last Annual Meeting, and the Board has been looking at various other community groups that also want to grow their membership, in part, by giving them more opportunities to expand their reach.  We think we’ve found one such mutual partner in the Manito Art League!

The first shared, public event we’ve discussed is a “Paint and Pour”.  The event would feature an artist to guide participants through each step of the process, and appetizers would be served during the session.  Alliance Foundation members would receive a discounted registration fee and a free beverage ticket.  At the end of the session, you’d walk away with a great piece of art having made new friends and shared lots of fun and laughter.

We'll keep working on this!

THE BRAT STAND CONTINUES!

The Alliance Brat Stand at the Trig’s hut continues for the Summer of 2020!  The Village Market "Sign-Up Sheet" for reserving Brat Stand dates was posted on May 1st and Dan Meier was at the front door when the store opened!  Dan signed us up for two dates - June 13th and August 8th.

Please consider volunteering to work at the stand for either or both of the dates.  This is a great fundraiser for us and a wonderful way to meet your neighbors and visitors, alike.
