For many years, the ALLIANCE FOUNDATION has been the Adopt-A-Highway caretaker of the section of Hwy 51 between the Community Center and south to The Howling Dog Saloon.  So when you, your family, visitors, and vacationers experience a gorgeous, scenic, "garbage free" drive approaching Manitowish Waters, you can thank the Alliance!

Three times each summer, we look for ~15 Volunteers to help us pick up and haul away the hundreds of pounds of garbage, car parts, and tires that we find littering our 4-mile segment each year.

May 22, 2021 - One of the several road teams that had fun working together!  And we all appreciated the "HONKS & CHEERS" from passing drivers that enthusiastically expressed their thanks.

Following each event our "Road Captainess", Jo Ann Klug, will be treating the group to beverages and snacks at one of our local establishments.  Every group that has helped in the past reports that they really had fun . . . really!

May 22, 2021 - The "After Clean-up" gathering at Angler's.  Not a sad face in the group (except for the few helpers that couldn't attend the 'refreshment' portion of the event).

If you plan to help us at this event, please let Jo Ann Klug know at:  mailto:joannk54545@gmail.com
